My Little Pony: Fighting Is Magic

A new work in progress has been announced! This time, it will be a 2D fighting game, featuring characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic! The team that is currently working on this game has informed me that this game will be featuring the 6 mane cast (The starting characters), along with 11 other playable characters, making a total of 17 playable characters.



Most of the actual content for the game is currently unknown, but we do know that it will have a fully supported online mode, suggesting there will be at least a classic arcade mode to play on single player. The game will also feature several stages that represent the various beloved areas of the Equestria, from the Everfree Forest to Canterlot. Still being early in production, there are a lot of features that are unknown to the public at this time, but will likely be released on a later date.

The release date for this game is currently unknown, though the team plans on releasing more information about this game on a regular basis. if there are any questions or concerns about this game, you can stop by on the Ponychan Thread and leave a comment there.

    btw...GET A BETTER PROGRAM if you can't get customized ponies + release it to the fans so they can mod it theirselves

      here's a suggestion, why don't you make your OWN program? then you can rage at whatever program you want. Do you think that these programs are easy to make?

    3. Plus this is being made by a team of people on their own time as a gift to us. So I wouldn't complain if there isn't as much customization as you would like. Also, show me a 2D fighting game like this where you can create your own character with their own customized super combos and special attacks that is also free and doesn't cost anything.

    -Princess Luna (Or Nightmare Moon, the makers will decide)

  79. guys, you run the game through a server, and they only open it during there livestream sessions. When the livestream is over, they close it off. I'm just as impatient as everyone else here so I'm going to suggest something to the devteam. ONCE THEY HAVE THE MANE 6 OUT, RELEASE A BETA VERSION THEN, AND ONCE THEY HAVE THE REST OF THE CHARACTERS OUT THEY FULLY RELEASE IT. Help me get this through the devteam and we shall have fun like no tomorrow!

    1. They probably don't have pegaus ponies implemented into the game yet because of their wings. We don't know what advantage they'll have in battle with them yet. Ex: Unicorns have magical attacks, while Earth ponies seem to be more athletic (at least from what I've seen ayways, I could be wrong)
